I couldn’t imagine what that shadow cast on the inside of the milk jug was, until I looked inside and saw it was a dead leaf.

A million to one shot, too, since the leaf must have been blown in horizontally through the slit in the side of the jug, by the prevailing wind from the North (to the right in the image).

And then, the wind must have blown the leaf vertical, flat up against the translucent side of the jug.

Even at 7:00PM, there’s still enough light for the iPad’s camera. The days are lengthening fast now.
